Spiritual Direction

The core emphasis of the Spiritual Direction Program is to increase the ability of an individual to discern the movement of the Spirit within their life, and to learn how to steward that movement to bring greater effectiveness in all decisions and responses in life. Unfortunately, spiritual direction is a skill that is rarely used effectively or is poorly understood. The skill of spiritual direction is only learnt through the experience of taking part in a spiritual direction relationship, and after time, the addition of specific spiritual listening and spiritual questions, skills and exercises. All our Spiritual Directors have been through this process.

This is a 12 month program requiring an hourly meeting or phone conference followed up with specific spiritual direction exercises. The process begins with a spiritual diagnostic assessment which helps define the God given way the individual best connects with God via spiritual disciplines.
